The understanding of Forensic Medicine and jurisprudence (legal aspects of medical practice) are imperative for all doctors. Hence it is envisaged to have an internationally recognized centre of excellence in education, services, research and medico legal works. The centre is to engage in educational programs, integrated training programs, social awareness programs and fruitful research activities. The endeavour of the department is to bring about in students, a broad understanding of the various interrelated disciplines of forensic medicine and science which would answer the need for providing theoretical knowledge. |
