The department aims to equip students with complete confident to attend common childhood diseases. Teaching in the form of lectures with interactive sessions, group discussion, demonstration of procedures, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, neonatal resuscitation are conducted regularly special clinics such as child guidance clinic, well baby clinic, immunization clinic and chest clinic are conducted to adequately teach the students. A well equipped New Born Intensive Care unit is established to take care of sick babies.
