Department of Anaesthesiology

The department follows an integrated approach and standard protocols for patient care, education and research. The department maintains a pre anaesthetic assessment clinic wherein complete examination of patients is carried out and counselling is accorded with the risks explained in detail. All residents are trained to give regional and general anaesthesia. Further, all students are trained to give basic life support. Anaesthesiologists also do vigilant monitoring during preoperative and postoperative periods till patients recover fully.
