Infrastructure
OBG department is running outpatient clinic caring for routine antenatal and gynecological problems including family welfare services. We have special outpatient clinics for high risk pregnancy, infertility, cancer screening, adolescent, menopausal clinic etc. The department provides special care to gynec patient in cancer screening procedure including video colposcopy and cryocautery.
Our department is provided with 3 state of the art operation theatres with provisions for open and laparoscopic surgeries with facilities for projecting live surgeries to the students. Our labour ward is equipped with high end delivery cots , CTG machines, bedside ultrasound providing utmost comfort and safety for our laboring women. We are also well equipped with NICU services offered by experienced neonatologists.
We have a state of the art ICU with 20 beds exclusively to service pregnant women.
We also have a departmental library, skill lab and demonstration class rooms with high end teaching aids.
Academic activities
We are taking lecture classes, clinical demonstrations and bedside clinics for the undergraduate students. We regularly conduct seminars, journal club every month and CME programmes twice in a year and involved in research activities.
